It’s common knowledge by now that Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Victory Venkatesh are all set to share screen space in upcoming multi-starrer directed by Krishna Vamsi.
The latest is that Vamsi has finally zeroed in on female leads for stars without much effort. After Magadheera and Naayak, actress Kajal Agarwal is again pairing up with Ram Charan. Nayantara is being considered for Venkatesh where the duo has a sizzling chemistry in films like Lakshmi, Tulasi.

The strong rumour on the streets is that Venkatesh is going to play Charan’s uncle (Babayi) in the film. If it is to be believed, Nayanthara will be Ram Charan’s Aunt (Pinni) and Kajal will be Venky’s daughter-in-law in the family entertainer.

A Bandla Ganesh production, the film is yet-to-be-titled and the project is likely to take off very soon.

Post ‘Jilla’, Neason flooded with calls from Telugu filmdom

Following the success of Tamil action-drama “Jilla“, its director RT Neason‘s phone has not stopped ringing. Several leading actors such as Junior NT Rama Rao (NTR) from the Telugu film industry have expressed an interest in working with him.

“I have been getting so many calls from Telugu industry. Junior NTR wants to work with me and so are so many other top actors. I haven’t really decided on whom will I work with next but I will be doing a film each in Tamil and Telugu soon,” Neason told.

While Neason worked with Tamil superstar Vijay in “Jilla“, he confirmed that his next will also feature a star.

“Both my projects will feature star actors. I haven’t zeroed in on anyone yet but I’ll be working with big stars for sure,” he added.

“Jilla“, also starring Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Kajal Agarwal and Pradeep Rawat in important roles, released during Pongal. It struck gold at the box office.

It reportedly minted over Rs. 25 crore within the first week of its release in the country.

Telugu movie producers have expressed interest in the film’s remake.

“There has been a lot of buzz there about ‘Jilla‘ remake. We have also received several calls but nothing has been finalised yet,” added Neason.

So producer of “Laxmi Raave Maa Intiki” is suffering due to conditions, so he has to space out his production for over 5 months (total 40 days with 7 days a week allotment) instead of wrapping up the movie in 40 days flat. What a pity!

Even though, Hansika Motwani mom claimed that they couldn’t do the film due to lack of dates, but a source reveals that it was ‘pay’ that was the reason, behind producer replacing Desamuduru star.

I love shooting during rainy season

Usually, one would love to sit at home sipping hot tea or coffee on a rainy day. But actress Kajal Agarwal says she loves to shoot when it’s raining outside.

“I enjoy going to the location in a car totally drenched in rain. Once I reach the spot, I am ushered in under umbrellas and once I finish shooting for the day, I am dropped back at my car protected by umbrellas. In between, I do get wet and that is a thrilling experience. Sometimes, during heavy rainfall, they cancel the shoots.

During such days, I ask my driver to stop the car at a good spot and simply enjoy the downpour. But my mom is dead scared of my antics. She says there are chances of being struck by thunder. In fact, I am allergic to rainy season. I end up sneezing if I get partially wet. However, I never take medicines. Instead, I eat citrus fruits,” says Kajal Agarwal.

Going by her enthusiasm, we are sure she will be made to prance around for a rainy song very soon.

Life has come full circle for Kajal Agarwal, who has teamed up with Krishna Vamsi again after so many years.

It should be noted that the actress registered her first hit with Vamsi’s film Chandamama and since then hasn’t looked back in her career.

There have been strong rumours that Kajal, who was happy to collaborate with Vamsi again, wasn’t ready to negotiate her remuneration because she felt she gets paid what she deserves.

Kajal who has been juggling films between three industries, said she’s happy being an actress and doesn’t find the time to do item numbers even if she’s offered.

She has immense respect for actresses who do item number and adds that it’s not easy to do them.
